Founded in 2016 by engineer/owner Joe Palladino, Studio 108 offers the production quality of a commercial facility with the accessibility, flexibility, and rates of a project studio.  Located in West Hartford, Connecticut, Studio 108 is available for full-service "capture-to-master" production, remote mixing and mastering, and various instrumental session work.

A Waterbury native, Joe has performed throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts with both original acts and cover bands for over 20 years.  In late 2015 he partnered with Connecticut-based folk band Cartwheel to engineer and co-produce On To The Next Heartbreak, the band's second studio album (he also plays drums on the record).  On the heels of that project's success, Joe decided to open his studio space to other area artists interested in an alternative to commercial studios.  The studio specializes in rock and folk genres, with mixes characterized by a clean, natural tone.

In addition to On To The Next Heartbreak, Joe's session drum work can be heard on Everybody Has A Story by Mark DiPino and Bright by Ryku.

Please feel free to contact the studio by email, phone, or Facebook to discuss your project.

Studio 108 takes a tailored approach to each project to gain an understanding of the scope, scale, and needs of the artist, to offer an all-inclusive flat rate for the finished product.  We do not charge time-based rates for anything we do, taking the "clock-watching" pressure off the artist.

The three main factors that most directly influence the quality of the finished product:

  • Artist preparation / performance
  • Source capture technique
  • Mix engineering / post-production aptitude

While extensive lists of boutique equipment may attract interest and imply sonic superiority, the best way to determine which studio is right for your project is simply to listen to their work until you find your ideal intersection of phonics and budget.
